Our illustrious leader, Mr. J. Smith, has invited me to launch a forum on my products (trucks, wheels, boards and completes). I always like to hear from skaters what's good and what's not-so-good about Seismic products, what we're doing right and what we can do better. So, please fire away!
I ordered my first pair of Seismic trucks off your web sight( heard they were great for big guys 225lbs). The next day I get a call and the guy is so helpful, he asked me my weight, what kind of skating I will be doing, all the right questions you know. Then he made some suggestion we changed the order, he saved me some money and got the perfect set up for my new board. WOW!!!! GREAT customer service!!!!!!! and a GREAT product !!!!!! THANKS for the help Jeff Vallone
Daniel,
I just had a weird experience I picked up one of my traditional trucked board it felt dead to me.
I have been skating long distance exclusively on Seismic trucks 105mm on my Bustin boards Spliff, 155 mm on my Seismic Meg board for the past month.
You got me hooked!!
I don't think I could ever go back to another truck after skating Seismic on hills and flat ground again. I have given up on skate parks I don't get the same stoke any more. I have skated or tried out almost every truck under the sun since the 1970's.
I have also found out by experimenting a bit with different springs. if you like to skate loose trucks like me you can drop down a few spring colors till you get the right turn or pump out of them for long distance pumping. I also run one 1/4 inch urethane riser under each truck. I weigh in at about 185 to 190 lbs and dropping. I also like how the Seismic's are solid down hills also no speed wobbles.
