Woodward Skateboard Camp - Slalom

Wentzle, Mike D, and Gilmour have been instructing the Woodward kiddies in the finer points of slalom skateboarding at Woodward this summer. From all reports slalom seems to be a hit. Below are some photos Mike Duquette sent TSJ.

thanks jack and TSJ for posting the photos.....it looks like week 2 is off to a great start as well....mike and tess are there for 2 more weeks and then we have new staff coming in for the rest of july. we will keep you all posted...peace WR4

Awesome Wentzel! Look at those kids having a BLAST!

Keep in mind folks... one of the ways to keep the stoke alive with these kids and continue to grow this aspect of the sport we all love is to get them into a scene when they get home. So... if you don't already have one, gather your crew and start a scene! Seek out these kids, show them what it's all about, and keep the juices flowing.

Now, get out there and do some skateboard racing, ("slalom" if you prefer) and find a grom or two to take along.

I see Woodward has a large camp now at Copper Mountain resort ; wondering if they have any plans / interest in some slalom clinics there. i know they probably have some good places to do it,..sounds like something some of us older COSS guys should get involved in????
