Pre-Release Sale of FreeRides...

...went okay after sorting out the shipping issues with the mfgr. About a hundred skaters had scored at least a set of the new Retro FreeRides that Chris Chaput is allowing us to score people two weeks before they are available at retailers. Hey, it's all in fun -- we know the wheels a a ton of fun and so I suggested a pre-sale with us might build the kind of buzz that retailers need f… Continue

Deliver me from Delivery Fees: The FreeRide release

So many headaches behind the fun... Cazart!

The Retro FreeRide is released today, signaling the end of the 'FishBall and the entry of three more SKU's in the expansive Sk8Trip lineups. They're 72mm, reflex-formula wheels and they're really worth all this effort to earn the right to score deals for skaters, I keep reminding myself. They ride great. In fact, I need to ditch work and go… Continue

Revenge of the Fishball

In 2007, we had a fun idea and made it happen, thanks to Chris Chaput: a super-limited edition pour of some wheels in his Pink Powerball shape, using lime Reflex from the ZigZags. We called them FishBalls and they turned out to be awesome all-arounder wheels.

Well, after repeated requests, the wheels are back with some new look and features. This will be fun, and to keep the stoke going, we're putting the 'Fish engine to work so skaters can get them early and for a killer deal. This is a previe… Continue

Silverfish Board Bag is released

Every once in a while, Malakai and I get to work on something fun that we can do to give back some stoke to all the skaters across the globe. Some of the more fun projects have been the limited-edition products we showcase for friends by creating something really cool that's just fun. Our 'Fishballs wheels were fantastic, the Black Ops FasTracks that Buddy Carr made for us to release the truck and the shirts we did with Concrete Wave were some of the more recent projects. Now, finally, we have o… Continue

The 1970's Arizona Desert Pipes

I don't know about you, but the trek to Signal Hill in '78 was a massive and very rare excursion for me, so I could only dream and marvel at the photos in Skateboarder Mag of the skaters in the big Ameron pipes. When JT brought us stories of the Nukeland Pipes and archival photos, I was stoked to edit and run that stuff on the 'Fish and we got a LOT of positive feedback (back in the day when it wasn't uncool to do that).

So, now, I've managed to get some text and photos from Ping! on the pipes… Continue

Erik,
I just wanted to thank you and Malikai for the great stories and photos you did on the Maryhill "Festival of Speed" this year. You went way up and above expectations as a Media Partner.

Silverfishlongboarding.com is the best site on the net for spreading the stoke. Keep up the great work.
