Thanks Wally, I really appreciate the support. This stuff wasn't real easy to just grasp and jump into over night. Just like anything else, it's taken lots of practice and passion for it.

Hey there John: Nice job on the demo reel. Web site is well done, also. I never would have thought back then (CASL, NSA days) that you would get into this of work, but keep pushing it. Hope you're doing ok... Wally from Nor. Ca.

My top three skateboarding influences:
My brother who got me interested:Terry Trimble following with Rodney Mullen, then Jeremy Ramey. after that would be in no particular order because they are all good with their own different style, and sessioning with them often really helped keep me interested. Primo Desiderio, Pierre Andre, Mike Kinney, Lynn Cooper.
What was your first skateboard?
a cheapo Fed-Co bought Wave brand board with Makaha trucks. After I showed further interest in the sport, my brother hooked me up with some real trucks, wheels and a board he had made himself. Wasn't long after that when I received my first freestyle skateboard, which was one of Primo's first pro models.
What skate mags do you read?
I don't read any, but did read G-Turn Freestyle Magazine, and used to check my contest stats in Transworld magazine.

John, TSJ is about three months old. While we do have a lot older skaters, we also have quite a few younger skaters here. TSJ is all about having respect for all types of skateboarding. We can all learn from each other.

Everybody should check out the inline skateboard board that John is riding. It basically one in line skate frame attached to a skateboard. No trucks I could not ride it everybody that tried to ride it fell hard. John was the only one who could ride it because of great since of balance.
