Hi Norski,
Thanks for getting back with me. Is there a pm system here? I'd like to give you my direct email but live in fear of spam bots that are always trolling if you post publicly . . . I'd like to chat with you about the Makaha's that you have. My brother knew who you were immediately -- he said "Norski! I know that name! That's the guy that's been beating my a__ over every Makaha bid I made on ebay!" I thought that was hilarious!
Yes, we know about Dale Smith. In fact, Dale was kind enough to give us an interview and let us film him with the prototype kicktail and the foam LX-10. Dale's collection is amazing and he is very knowledgeable about the whole history of the sport.
Hi Norski!
I am editing the movie that Curt Stevenson referred to about Larry Stevenson and Makaha Skateboards. I was thrilled to see your pics of the clear green LX-10. That board is talked about in the movie and we only have an old ad to show (if you would like a pdf of the ad let me know and I'll send it to you). Would it be possible to get you to take some photos for us to use in the movie? Hope to hear from you soon

Norskinator!!! Do you know that in 1966 I was still swimming in my daddy's nutsac? It was not until '67 that I made my way out! Glad we are friends in real life as well as here in the Matrix.
Hey Norski! We here at Kahuna Creations are stoked to be your friend! I really enjoy some of your photos! Have you had the opportunity to try one of the Kahuna Big Sticks?! Mahalo
Gabe Steptoe made it, it's a Foiled Concepts board, from the Hurricane Katrina wood that fell here in 2005. It's a gorgeous board, I have been looking for a nose guard for it. I have it set up with original trucks and it rides like a dream. When I'm not top-heavy, lol!
It's nice to meet you now. I'm flattered you can still find the NSR and are still collecting. I'm building a website for that paper.....not up yet, but I hope you'll check it out.
