It took a while to convince the city/city council that skateboarding was what is going on in this world and a great outlet for kids, etc. They also let me make all the decisions as far as concrete vs. pre-fab. CONCRETE ALL THE WAY

I haven't, but there aren't really enough hills around here to make use of it either... I have ridden a flowboard, which has the 7-wheel DCS trucks on both ends... it's unique but slow because each time a new wheel hits the ground, it eats up a huge amount of inertia

I've been longboarding about two and a half years, but I did more "normal" skateboarding for years before that. Really I just like anything that has 4 wheels and rolls :) (though I've ridden things with 2 or 6 or 14 wheels and those are ok too)
