I did some mileage the past 2 days, Monday I did 17 miles Monday.
I did 16 miles today in 2 hours 13 minutes non stop.
Now your all scratching your head asking what does the title have to with
long distance pumping and pushing skateboarding.
Let's start off with monday I woke up at 5:00 am and caught the 101 bus north to Oceanside to catch the Sprinter lite rail train to Escondido so I could see with my own eyes the east to west rail trail bike lane.
I found out the trail only went 6.66 miles…

I know a way to make your downhill park a dream. In the back country of Deluz between Fallbrook and Ranch california.
Their are a lot of Avocado grove have become infected with root rot. Some of these are so steep on the hills you can't build house
and they are large about 25 to 50 acres. The large groves have oiled or paved roads and are terraces. Where the dead avocado trees are. Now if a bunch of skateboarder got together purchased the land and cleared the grove. Paved the terraces you would have a down hill skate park with a road to no where. Fence it off and allow members to only have a key to the gate.
You could also put a Picnic area at the bottom for families of the skateboarders.
I haven't drummed up a world record flatland speed trap contest but I know where to have it. I'm leaning to find some investors that might find a downhill skateboard park(chairlifts to the top) as of late. If you know of anyone with deep pockets itching to put up a progressive downhill park, I have some ideas on paper that might stir up some interest.
I'm enjoying exploring a level of skateboarding that never interested me before. It does a great job in helping me stay a decent level of health. Flatland skateboarding at self-generated speeds is a huge area of unchartered skateboard territory for me. It's more than just skating long long distances. It's more of skating with a balanced approach for even muscle wear and tear while jamming to some tunes.
I guess I'll have to keep skating like a crazed spider with wheels under it's feet. I am on the edge of falling forward with each stroke and a stoke to get on down the line.

G turn at a CASL freestyle skateboard contest
I competed for quite a few years in CASL and was head judge and Sonja go to person if she needed something done. I made it to factory sponsored my very last Sponsors were Kryptonics thanks to Jack Smith, Cutter Trucks thanks to Dave Dominy, Vans shoes thanks to Everett and Beetle Rosecrans were my last sponsors also F.U. Skatez.
But I did the flow team deal for awhile before I picked up my final sponsors. I was on Vision street wear and Everett Rosecrans quit and took us all to Vans. Then the Tracker flow team thanks to Chris "Sarge ' Carter and Buddy Carr. Gullwing flow team also. I forget the name of the team manager he was between Jim Goodrich and Randy Jansen at gullwing The Assault Skateboard flow list thanks to Scott Ricks who ran the company and team. I also formed a ragtag Team of freestylers after the larger manufacturers dropped them all just before NSA finals. It was called F.U. skatez or aka Freestyle Underground Skatez. I had board made by madrid they all broke so I got Dave at Uncle Wiggley to make me a 5 ply titanium stringer and wider board. That was great if you did moving trick like me . Then I ran out of money for my Charity Freestyle team as Shaun Sheffey called it. It was also really funny at nationals to have the announcer say F.U. Skatez. he Finally said who the hell was F.U. Skatez.
I was also Proud of my bother John he got 9th place at his first NSA freestyle Finals he was only 10 years old at that finals he took down a lot big name freestylers.
Then Traditional freestyle lasted one more year I tried to save it with three PSL freestyle contests .All the pros showed up for the first one .I penned a article in power edge magazine about it. Rick Kosick shot the photos.
Then we let it die and let flat ground street skating be the new freestyle.
