The brief time that I knew Peter, there was an instant bond.
He was like a sponge drinking everything in. He loved DH, he loved slalom & he loved his friends & family.
Most of all, he loved life & his was taken away eons too soon.
We miss you Peter.
I first saw Peter ride at Morro Bay: the one and done event, and the big hill. Later that year, I saw him again at the SC/Bernal cone challenge deal. Peter was a positive force for skating and life; his attitude was refreshing; he is/was a reminder of what skateboarding should be... I hope his family and friends are doing well.
RIP

My son and I met Peter for the first and last time at Judi Oyama's bike trail cyber-slalom sesh and Peter, his dad, brother? and friend really brought that session to life and we both looked forward to seeing them all in the future. Very shortly after, we heard the sad and shocking news of his accident and passing. Rest in peace Peter, and best wishes to surviving friends and family.

I would like to say that you meet only so many skateboarders that you really remember. Peter hit my heart as soon as I met him. My son is inspired by him as well as much of the skateboard community. Hope you all can contribute to the OSG next year. Maybe it is not the biggest venue, the most "lucrative" or a main event, but it the best event for the true "FUN" of skateboarding.! Pat, Paul, and the rest of the CSA have it going on. That is why Peter loved this event so much. If you love to skate, do not miss this event. If you skate for any other reason, save your money.I am designing a new complete for you, Peter. With any luck I will not have car issues to deliver it to your family. Looking forward to skating with the TACTIS Crew, Best Wishes, Lance and Family
I never knew these young man but it always saddens me to hear of a young person leaving us so soon. Dennis from the East Coast of the USA

Glad I met and raced with him in Morro Bay last year. Still gives me a hole in the gut to think about what happened. There but for the grace of God go us all. Sk8 on up there Peter...that jet stream must be a rush!
